Eurydice marks twentieth anniversary

Eurydice, the European education-information network, marked its twentieth anniversary by publishing a history of the organization, which was presented to education ministers meeting in the EU Council. Eurydice, which has been part of the EU Socrates programme since 1995, highlights both the diversity and common trends in education systems in Europe. It is made up of units created by the national education ministries, plus a European unit established by the Commission. Eurydice is present in the 15 EU member states, plus nine from central and eastern Europe, three EEA/Efta countries, and Cyprus. Further information is available by e-mailing info@eurydice.org
