Around 400 Turks will receive grants to undertake a year's postgraduate study in the EU over the next five years, under a 10 million euro scholarship programme announced by the European Commission. The money, under the Jean Monnet programme, will allow young Turkish graduates, as well as employees in the public and private sectors, to study subjects related to Turkey's strategy for accession to the EU.
