Loans boost education in Finland
The European Investment Bank is to lend 180 million to finance buildings and equipment in Finnish higher education. Education projects will also benefit from a 50 million loan to the fast-growing town of Vantaa, in southern Finland, and 50 million lent to Finland's Municipality Finance Bank, a non-profit-making institution set up by local authorities in Finland to cover their financial needs at the lowest possible cost.
