Study visits for those responsible for vocational training

The EU organises short study visits for people responsible for vocational training. The visits last between three and five days, and seek to promote understanding of vocational training systems and schemes in European countries in order to shed light on subsequent policy decisions. They take place in small groups so as to foster exchanges among participants as well as between participants and nationals of the host country.

The visits target company training officers, human resource officers, managers of small firms, representatives of chambers of commerce or chambers of trade, heads of vocational training centres or other training providers, town councillors, regional or local administrators, members of local development organisations, local or regional administrators, researchers, trade union representatives or representatives of employer organisations.
