Leading property services contractor Styles & Wood celebrated the presentation of The Queen's Award for Enterprise recently.

The Queen's Award remains one of the world's most prestigious symbols of business achievement and was granted to Styles & Wood in the Innovation category for its pioneering work in the development of retail property services.

Styles & Wood has grown consistently over the past five years as a result of its relationships with most of Britain's top retailers - bringing support to their huge property portfolios from project feasibility services through store design to project implementation. The business's Customer for Life programme also offers a unique after sales service which ensures retailers benefit from ongoing support where and when it's most needed.

Customers include; Argos, Asda, Boots, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, J Sainsbury and many other high street names.

CEO Gerard Quiligotti attributes winning The Queen's Award to the business's approach to its customers:

Five years ago we took a very ordinary contracting service and set about breaking new ground - searching for and implementing good ideas that would make the process of store development simpler to the benefit of every one of our customers.

The Award was presented at the company's Salford offices by The Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Colonel Sir John Timmins at a ceremony attended by many of the company's 140 staff.
