Special Edition in memory of Noreen Wetton
Research with children and young people
Dear Colleagues
As many of you know Noreen Wetton, who died earlier this year, left a fantastic legacy of research with young people which has informed curriculum and policy development in health education nationally and internationally. You may not know that Noreen was a founding member of the editorial board of Health Education. She wrote the editorial for the first ever edition and indeed continued to review articles for the journal into her 80th year.
I hope you will agree that it would be fitting to remember Noreen's very special contribution to health education in the UK by devoting a special edition of Health Education to her memory. We are therefore putting out a call for papers on subjects which Noreen championed:

Illuminative research with children and young people on topics broadly defined as health.
- •
Practitioner based enquiry with the aim of informing curriculum development and/or professional development for teachers in health education.
- •
Evaluation of child centred approaches to health education.
