Streamlining enterprise training management

Keywords Computer-based training, Management

Computer based training (CBT) specialists, Pathlore Software, and the training and software company, John Matchett Ltd (JML), are collaborating to meet the growing demand for unified training management by producing CBT Connection, a database application which enables companies to manage both online and traditional training programmes for thousands of learners from a single console.

With CBT Connection, users of JML's training administration system, Registrar, and Pathlore's PHOENIX for the Enterprise CBT system can log on to a single application, instead of several. In this integrated application, they can manage live classroom and online CBT training programmes together as one larger programme, encompassing all their training. By combining student and progress information from PHOENIX with classroom records stored in Registrar, users can produce detailed, comprehensive reports on completion status, scores, competency data and so on.

Without logging on to separate applications or crunching numbers with pencil and paper, users can review an individual student's complete training record as well as see the "big picture" of training - both traditional and online - across entire departments and divisions. This capability bridges the traditional chasm between live instruction and online training.

Registrar and PHOENIX are available for Web and client/server systems. For further information call Pathlore on 01442 232345 or visit their Website at www.pathlore.com
