Trinity Mirror expands use of e-learning

Trinity Mirror, which publishes more than 200 regional newspapers in the UK and five national titles, and operates more than 300 online brands, is expanding the use of e-learning across the company.

David Rad, commercial-systems training and development manager of Trinity Mirror Regionals, explained:

In a geographically widespread business, e-learning is an excellent way of ensuring that consistent training to equivalent standards is taking place across the group. The advent of advanced e-learning authoring tools means that our own training teams are able to design and implement highly professional e-learning quickly and easily.

There is a range of rapid e-learning tools in the marketplace but it was clear from the outset that we were needed a top-end product that would allow the design of high quality e-learning on a collaborative basis. The ability to simulate a live system environment, combined with a strong learning-management system and flexible content generation, meant that we opted for Content Point authoring tools from Atlantic Link.
