Spirits firm raises a glass to e-learning

Article Type: Notes and news From: Industrial and Commercial Training, Volume 44, Issue 5

William Grant & Sons, a fifth-generation family-owned Scottish spirits company, is using e-learning to train all its employees in issues to do with avoid bribery and corruption.

The company has commissioned eCom Scotland to produce the materials in English, Spanish and simple Mandarin.

The materials are based around a detective solving a case. The learner progresses through the package, culminating in a final assessment.

To accommodate clients’ requirements, eCom devised a system of bronze, silver, gold and platinum types to identify different levels of interactivity and template pages in each module. For this particular project a silver module was selected.
