Tulip helps to “grow” young talent

Article Type: Notes and news From: Industrial and Commercial Training, Volume 44, Issue 7

A UK food company has launched a Talent for the New Generation scheme to provide first-hand experience across all industry disciplines to young people at every level of education.

The Tulip Ltd scheme – which includes agriculture placements, work experience, industrial placements, apprenticeships and graduate schemes – will provide real opportunities for participants to achieve their full potential by gaining experience with a fast-growing business.

Ally Patterson, Tulip’s Group Learning and Development Manager, explained: “It is essential for our future growth that we attract to our industry the best raw talent available, and that we then provide the support, through real work experience combined with training and development, to enable people to achieve their full potential.

“We are totally committed to providing young people, at all stages of their education, with the opportunity to see for themselves that Tulip is not only a great organisation to work for, but also one of the UK’s leading manufacturers. As such, the experience we can provide will be second to none”.
