Article Type: Call for papers From: International Journal of Social Economics, Volume 35, Issue 8

Indian Growth and Development Review seeks to encourage and publish both theoretical and empirical research articles that are of high-scientific quality and offer new insights in the field of growth and development economics.

Indian Growth and Development Review aims not only to further contemporary debate on growth and development issues in India, but also to impact directly on decision-making processes in this area. To this end, the journal publishes a policy section focused on economic issues within the Indian subcontinent. The journal also has a section on the teaching of economics.

Indian Growth and Development Review aims at becoming the best field journal in growth and development economics coming out of the fast emerging and developing economies around the world.

The editors now invite contributions for potential publication in all three sections of the journal:

The reviewing process

Each paper is reviewed by the editors and, if judged suitable for this publication, is then sent to two referees for double blind peer review. The editors then decide whether the paper should be accepted as it is, revised or rejected. Indian Growth and Development Review is committed to an initial decision on a research article within four months from the date of assigning a referee to the paper.
