Following the acquisition of Stork Pumps by the Swedish Johnson Pump International, a number of new products have now been added to the Stork range. The MDR series are magnetic drive seal-less centrifugal pumps made in corrosion resistant polypropylene or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and are leak-proof. Flow rates are 10 to 500 l/min.
The MDR is completely leak-proof which is important where dangerous or precious liquids are involved. There is no mechanical connection between the drive shaft and the pump body. Power is transmitted magnetically and the Johnson design minimises transmission power loss.
