Weighing only 30kg (66.2lbs), the compact SV3 robot is a low-cost solution ideal for small part handling and packaging applications. Easily converted to a Class 1 clean room robot, the SV3 is also ideal for use in single wafer and cassette handling, disk substrate and media handling, and flat panel display applications. The SV3 robot, with the MRC IIs controller, features a small footprint and requires a minimal capital investment.

The fully articulated, six-axis robot features a 3 kg (6.6lb) payload capacity, a reach of 677mm (26.6"), and a repeatability of ±0.03mm (+0.001"). Owing to the small footprint of the SV3 robot, it can easily be mounted on a table or other mounting platform. The SV3 moves at faster speeds than comparable robots, up to 400° per second at the wrist (T-axis).

Motoman's new, compact MRC IIs controller, features a footprint half the size of the standard MRC and easily fits under a table or in other confined spaces. Digital signal processors (DSP) provide high performance and flexibility for the SV3 robot.
