Deneb Robotics Inc. has just become the software provider for digital manufacturing at both the Toyota Motor Corporation and the Chrysler Corporation. This announcement underlines the company's increasing dominance of the automotive industry. Daimler-Benz, Audi and Volvo among others are already committed Deneb users.
It has been confirmed that the prestigious Toyota order is worth $1.1 million to Deneb. Chrysler will be using Deneb software to streamline product and process development through a common simulation environment for all their suppliers.
"Millions of dollars will be saved at Toyota by standardising its digital manufacturing with Deneb products", said Rakesh Mahajan, CEO, Deneb Robotics, Inc. "The use of a common simulation environment will allow them to quickly review and approve products accepted through Toyota research". Deneb software installations at Toyota include numerous seats of IGRIP, QUEST, ENVISION, Deneb/ERGO and others, according to Mahajan.
"We are very pleased with the confidence that Chrysler has placed in us by making this commitment to Deneb", said Rakesh Mahajan. "We have been working very closely with them over the last few months to support their vision of the CATIA pipeline. The newly delivered integration between Deneb Robotics software and CATIA is key to having the seamless integrated solution flow of product/process and resource data across the Digital Extended Enterprise".
