The Metal Finishing Pollution Prevention Project is a voluntary co-operative effort between the Canadian Association of Metal Finishers (CAMF), the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society (AESF), the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA), the Metal Finishing Suppliers' Association (MFSA), the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Energy (MOEE), and the federal Department of the Environment (DOE) to prevent pollution. It is a component of the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Energy's Pollution Prevention Strategy and Canada's Green Plan's Pollution Prevention Initiative.
