Honda has specified ABB paint robots for its new European plant at Swindon. The contract is for the supply of 20 paint robots intended for primer, base and clear coating applications on the new Honda Civic production line.
Installation of the robots – supplied by UK-based ABB Automation Ltd – commenced in November last year and commissioning is currently taking place.
