Japan Robotic Association (JARA) published a framework of robotics strategy for 2025 in conjunction of a project sponsored by Ministry of Economics and Industry. In this Robot Strategy a new concept of robot technology (RT) is defined that should replace the preconception of the general public that robots are solely for industrial use

The purpose of the report is to identify the priority needs of various robot applications in the future, study necessary bases of its realization and try to establish new systems for the future, wiping out the preconception of the general public. Its interesting conclusion is that in compliance with various social needs various robotics businesses will be emerging.

Following the report JARA will continue to study realization issues specifically and will make a suggestion to the government and general public.
