New interlock from fortress designed with the operator in mind
A new design of safety interlock is making quick and easy access to hazardous areas more efficient and easier thanks to Fortress Interlocks Ltd. With all moving parts and a key constructed from stainless steel, the CL lock is a robust product that can be used in conjunction with Fortress' entire KeyGard and AmGard ranges of mechanical and electromechanical safety inter1ocks (Plate 7).
Designed with the operator in mind, the key may be inserted into the lock either way up, reducing access times to plant and machinery.

Tested to over one million operations and with over two hundred thousand lock combinations, the CL lock is suitable for high frequency, heavy-duty interlock applications, across a broad spectrum of industries. This high integrity mechanism has a standard key that cannot be mastered and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +150°C. Colour coded locks and keys are available for enhanced process identification and the CL is easy to incorporate into existing safety applications.
