is the recipient of the Literati Club Awards for Excellence Leading Editor Award
The Literati Club was delighted to recognise Dr Loughlin's editorship of the three journals with a Leading Editor Award.
Dr Clive Loughlin studied electronic engineering at Nottingham University, with PhD research into "Eye-in-hand" robot vision. He founded the first UK machine vision company "Electronic Automation Ltd" which is now a part of Marconi. Clive has very broad industrial experience including the design of sensor rich industrial robot systems, CNC machine tools, subsea cable tracking systems, teleoperator robot arms, hydraulics and ROV control systems. In 1990, he became the Editor of the international journals Assembly Automation, Industrial Robot and Sensor Review while remaining active as an electronic systems design engineer.
