UK robot football competition, 5-6 April 2004
Just before Christmas 2003, the Universities of Warwick and Plymouth got together for a robot football competition. The event was a great success with two teams from Plymouth and one from Warwick competing in ten games. Plymouth came out on top after a hard fought contest.
All the participants came away from the event very pleased with how well their entries had performed and with a huge number of ideas for the further development of their teams.
The next competition will be at Warwick from 5-6 April and all other Universities with an interest in this area are invited to come along and either take part in the competition or just in the conversations which take part around it.
The games will be played according to the FIRA Mirosot small league (three players per side) rules.
