CATCON, 7-8 April 2003

CATCON seeks to establish a forum in which equipment suppliers, service providers, academics and defence personnel involved in the delivery of catering services to the Armed Forces can exchange views and share information. This was the inaugural event in April and was both interesting and beneficial to participants and suppliers. The inspiration for CATCON has been the seminars run by the Research and Development Association in the USA where industry and defence are able to engage with each other on a number of subjects. Thus it was felt there was scope for a similar forum for the European Defence Community.
