Hygiene issues continue to be high on the food industry's agenda. The role of food operatives in the spreading of contamination when handling food has been the subject of much debate for many years. The conclusions from detailed research carried by Campden BRI in collaboration with industry were disclosed at a seminar. The seminar saw the launch of a new Campden BRI guideline document detailing best practice in hand hygiene, based on the findings of the research.
