The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) is an independent, multi-disciplinary organisation, dedicated to the promotion and protection of collective human health and well-being.

As a vital part of its remit, the RSPH provides vocationally related qualifications. RSPH training and courses lead to qualifications that are directly relevant to the workplace and national health priorities.

Around 100,000 students qualify through RSPH every year, through a network of UK wide registered training centres.

Recognized and regulated to award accredited qualifications RSPH training and courses lead to qualifications regulated by the Office of the Qualifications. Qualifications include all aspects of food safety and nutrition.

At the annual conference, presentations on the following topics were made:

  • the future of public health; and

  • the big society and what it means for health.

Awards to students were also made at this extremely well-attended event.
