The agency has published a review of existing studies that explore how people manage food safety in their homes and what implications these behaviours could have on their health (www.food.gov.uk/news/newsarchive/2011/aug/homehygiene).
The FSA is inviting researchers to carry out a survey of allergen advisory labelling to provide a better understanding of whether the labelling relates to the actual level of allergen present in processed foods.
