A new hand-held emergency spray gun has been introduced by Maestro Safety Equipment (Plate 6).

This new wall-mounted model, the Maestro L910 features a stay-open valve which means that, after activating the unit, the victim will not need to pull a trigger to keep the spray alive. This makes it easier to use, especially in the event of an injury to the hands.

The L910 is a wall mounted unit with a flexible hose of approximately 2m. The stay-open valve is operated by means of a large push flag which is mounted alongside the unit.

When the unit is activated a dust cover which protects the spray head is automatically floated off by the water pressure. The Maestoflo spray head is designed to give maximum coverage with automatic pressure and volume control to provide an even, soft flow of water to flush the affected area.
