Software included in a new checkweighing system from Sartorius reportedly gives complete traceability for every batch, enabling machine operators to have stricter control over the accuracy of product weights.

The Sartopac 85 can check, document and evaluate up to 85 different liquid and solid products, without interrupting filling operations, to allow a rapid response to filling variations.

The ISOTEST functions, including self-testing and calibrating, aid compliance with legal requirements like ISO and GMP.

Both short- and long-term control of the filling process can be achieved by the three sets of statistics that are generated. Batch traceability of these results is said to be assured by entering batch ID against a product code.

Easily networked to a PC or computer control system, the Sartopac 85 can be configured with a choice of weighing platforms and printers.

The backlit, alphanumeric display is easy to read, even in bad light.
