An extended range of products developed specifically for the finishing of both domestic and commercial pine furniture has been introduced recently by Trimite Ltd.
The range includes new compliant and water-based products which meet the latest UK and EC environmental regulations. These are: E27 water based stains, AL24 and AL25 compliant clear lacquers, EL30 water-based lacquers, and EP30 a newly formulated water-based primer-filler. All have undergone thorough proving trials in conjunction with selected pine furniture manufacturers and are suitable for spray application.
The new products complement Trimite's existing C39 series of solvent-based tinted and pigmented base stains for pine surfaces, and the company's other well-proven wax, cellulose and polyurethane pine finishing products. Trimite has also recently introduced a compliant spatter finish for wood and will shortly launch a UV-curable range of wood finishes.
