Tiona titanium dioxide price increase

Keywords: Millennium Inorganic Chemicals

Millennium Inorganic Chemicals informs us that it has increased prices US$100 per metric ton on all Tiona1 titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in the Asia-Pacific region.

“Increased demand across the region, coupled with tight supply make this increase necessary. Prices in the USA and Europe are nearly US$150 per metric ton above current prices in the Asia-Pacific region. While we have not attempted to fully eliminate the difference between Asia-Pacific prices and prices in the rest of the world, we believe this partial adjustment is necessary and appropriate,” said Michael Card, sales director, Asia-Pacific. “Although we are still well below reinvestment level, there are many bright spots in the economies across the region.”
