Churchgoers see the “light”

Keywords: Plascoat Systems, Coatings, Mild steel

Churches right across the north of England are leaving vandals no “window” of opportunity and regularly turn to Manchester wireworker and coater Plastic Treatments for protection.

The Little Hulton-based company has been used to taking holy orders for its window guards for decades, with the Roman Catholic cathedral in Liverpool one of its most prestigious sites.

Keen not to detract from the beauty of the stained glass windows, Plastic Treatments has recently standardised on Plascoat’s low density polyethylene (LDPE) coating for its galvanised mild steel guards.

The effect of the black finish is to appear almost invisible from a distance, while providing long-lasting corrosion protection.
