Graco informs us that recent changes in the structure of its international distribution network have stimulated expansion of a significant part of Prodef Engineers’ business – designing and engineering advanced-technology – fluid handling systems for automotive body shops.

Announcement of the strengthened partnership between American equipment manufacturer, Graco, and British systems specialist, Prodef Engineers, has led to the appointment of Lloyd Cox (Plate 5) as sales manager, automotive.

Lloyd joins Prodef Engineers with extensive experience of selling equipment and systems into automotive body shops – his in-depth market knowledge makes him a well-respected figure within the industry. It is no coincidence that, prior to the closure of the Smethwick distribution centre, he was a senior sales engineer with Graco Limited, having previously held several senior positions within the company during the past ten years. Lloyd started his career as a technical apprentice with another leading name in the finishing business – Binks. He subsequently became one of that company’s automotive project engineers, before moving on to Graco as a systems engineer.
