This Old House Ventures Inc., the producer of the award-winning television program and a magazine title of the same name, announced an agreement with ICI Paints to manufacture a line of paints carrying the “This Old House” brand. The paint line is the first in a series of products planned for introduction, said Eric Thorkilsen, President of This Old House Ventures Inc. The business also plans to roll out tools, lawn and garden products and building materials. Financial terms of the agreement were not announced, and distribution and availability plans have not been finalized.

Thorkilsen said, “We are delighted to be partnering with ICI Paints, a leader in paints”. Cathy Fischer, Chief Marketing Officer for ICI Paints, said the agreement “is a natural fit for ICI Paints, based on the company's reputation for producing high-quality and long-lasting performance paints. We are very excited to be working with such a strong brand name.”

This Old House Ventures Inc., is an affiliate of Time4 Media and a subsidiary of Time Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. ICI Paints is part of the ICI Group. ICI Paints' North American operations produce the decorative coatings brands Glidden, Dulux, Ralph Lauren, Devoe, Fuller-O'Brien, Sinclair, C-I-L paint, and Color Your World and the Liquid Nails caulks and adhesives.
