CIR Global Industrial Ink-jet Printing Report 2004 by Dr Justin D. Hayward

CIR Global Industrial Ink-jet Printing Report 2004 by Dr Justin D. Hayward

Keywords: Ink-jet printers, Printing industry

This authoritative annual report written in partnership with Jan Fineman, former-CEO of Xaar Plc, an industrial ink-jet printhead manufacturing and technology licencing company.

The report covers global product identification (coding and marking) and graphic communications sectors, and has a bonus short case study on electronics by ink-jet, among other case studies.

Jan Fineman has many years direct board and management level industry experience and he is partnered with CIR in setting up industry market research calls with all key industry players in (non-SOHO/commercial) OEM graphics (globally worth more than $0.9 billion) and all coding & marking ink-jet equipment and inks (globally worth more than $1.3 billion), and providing other inputs to the report.

Justin Hayward is a former PhD physics student of Professor Stephen Hawking and an ex-analyst of Deutsche Bank, London and has been managing CIR Ltd, an independent company, since 2001, which has a number of clients in industrial ink-jet sectors.

The report has a financial perspective, collecting data which enables a clear analysis of fit between companies in the market and new entrants at an M&A, JV or partnership level. CIR believes this approach, alongside competitor analysis, is unique in industrial ink-jet at present. The report is made economical compared to single-client advice as it is offered to investors and companies enabling pricing economies.

There is also an appendix of companies available separately or with the report. This takes in interviews with global companies, and information taken in from Drupa in 2004.
