Sequoia Sensors has announced the successful conclusion of three major agreements for the supply of Vatell heat flux sensors, together worth in excess of £2.5 million over a period of 4 years.

Sequoia sensors has signed two separate agreements with the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), one covering the supply of sensors to the new Ariane 5 high payload rocket, and one covering the supply of sensors to the new Airbus 380. The third agreement is with Team McLaren.

Commenting, Nick Lidington, Managing Director of Sequoia Technology added, “Sequoia Sensors has proved its ability to build long term relationships with customers that are, and need to be, exceptionally demanding of quality and support. We have worked with EADS through its rigorous qualification processes which are some of the most demanding in the world, and were able to fully satisfy them that we were able to partner with them at the level that they expect to see”.

Catering for applications from process control to aerospace and engine management systems Sequoia's sensors division leverages partnership agreements with world leading specialist manufacturers. Vatell Corporation is typical of the companies that it represents effectively, and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, exceptionally reliable pressure transducers and transmitters.
