Two further parts (Nos 2 and 3) to BR Digest 427 on Low Rise Buildings on Fill. Vital information for surveyors, bearing in mind the Government's announcement that 60 per cent of new housing is to be on brownfield land, some of which will inevitably be fill. BRE Digest 274 and 275 are now withdrawn. BRE have also published Information Paper 1/98 on Magnesium Limestone Aggregate in Concrete. This paper replaces IP2/91.
BRE in collaboration with DOE and the timber frame industry are building a timber framed six storey block of flats at Cardington Laboratory for evaluation.
