Good Practice Guide 310 has just been published by the Government's Energy Efficiency Programme and is a practical introduction on using degree days to detect changes in heating system operation, on determining actual savings from energy-saving measures and on producing realistic heating budgets. General Information Leaflet 65 on metering energy use in non-domestic buildings is another recent publication from the same organisation.
