English Heritage has announced the setting up of a pilot scheme of heritage protection on 15 sites throughout the country. These include London's Centre Point and the University of East Anglia. The pilot sites will focus on the innovative aspects of the new system – a single unified “list”, a single designation regime and the establishment of statutory management agreements.
