Members of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors have voted against ICES joining forces with the RICS. Concerns over subscription levels are rumoured to have been one concern of ICES members. The RICS have responded by approving the use of the designation “chartered engineering surveyor” by appropriately qualified members.
