United States-based automatic pick and place manufacturer MultiTroniKs (http://multitroniksinc.com) has recently announced the acquisition of Intelliplace (http://www.btinternet.com.intelliplace).
MultiTroniKs is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of pick and place equipment in the North and South American markets. With a strategy to broaden its portfolio of products and increase market share in the European market, MultiTroniKs view the collaboration between the two companies as providing a significant advantage with more rapid lead-time from product development to product introduction.
Formerly Dynapert Limited, Intelliplace has re-established its major role in the European electronics and assembly market. Last year saw the launch of the innovative DHM and SHM-120 flexible vision mounters, which have been extremely successful in the UK with a rapidly growing number of installations. Intelliplace is appointing new agents across Europe, ensuring that this success continues.
Intelliplace will continue development of its product lines, manufacture of the DHM series and support for the Dynapert after market, while providing support for the full range of MultiTroniKs placement systems in the European market. MultiTroniKs will reciprocate this arrangement in the North and South American market so that a complete range of flexible and intelligent placement systems can be offered whatever the production requirement. Field service response and applications support from qualified staff will be greatly enhanced with local facilities throughout North America and Europe.
