Vision Engineering Ltd is expanding its wholly-owned US subsidiary corporation, Vision Engineering Inc. The new growth initiative has increased the Connecticut-based plant by almost 50 percent and added eight new staff members, taking the US operation's total head count to 33.
Headed by US general manager Rick Coyle and national sales manager David Marks, the New Milford site now stands at 39,000ft2, up from 20,000ft2. "The additional capacity will be used to provide a design function equipped with ProEngineer 3-D CAD stations as well as new manufacturing facilities to include advanced CNC machining", says Coyle. Presently, the site manufactures Vision's award-winning Mantis™ stereo spatial-imaging instruments.
