The Finnish PMJ automec Corporation, has won orders worth over FIM 50 million since the end of February. These orders have been won in every market area, including Finland, Scandinavia, Middle Europe and USA.
Today, PMJ supplies its customers more and more with turnkey solutions instead of separate production equipment. The booking of these new orders will be pushed forward to the following four-month period as installations of these large projects will take place in late spring and early summer of 1999. Consequently, PMJ's turnover for the first four-month period will remain modest.
In 1998, PMJ's turnover increased by 80 per cent, totalling FIM 128.1 million. At the moment, the orderstock is FIM 120 million. The rolling orderstock for the past 12 months totals FIM 194 million. The PMJ Group has got subsidiaries in England, Germany, Sweden and the USA. The company shares are listed on the I-list of HEX Helsinki Stock Exchange.
