Messe München and the Indian trade fair organisation Electronics Today are jointly organising a trade fair for the electronics industry in the Indian city of Bangalore.
From 27-30 January 2000 Messe München International and its Indian partner Electronics Today, based in Mumbai (Bombay) and New Delhi, will be holding the premiere of a trade fair for electronic components and electronics production. Componex/electroniclndia 2000 International Conference and Exhibition of Electronic Components, Materials and Production Equipment is the successor to the Indian fair Componex, which took place in New Delhi for the fourth time in early 1999. As a new venue for the joint event the organisers have chosen the Indian high-tech centre of Bangalore in the centre of the subcontinent. The international organisation of the event will be in the hands of IMAG International Messe-und Ausstellungsdienst.
The main product groups at Componex/electroniclndia are electronic components, semiconductors and assemblies, passive components, electromechanical components, test equipment, electronics tools and equipment, machinery and plant for electronics production. An accompanying programme with symposia and lectures on the main themes of the exhibition is also in preparation. Invited to the event are trade visitors from all the states in India.
