Arie Halachmi is the author/editor of more than dozen books and hundreds of articles dealing with productivity and management issues in the public sector. He is a Visiting Professor at the Center for Public Administration at Zhongshan University (China), an Associate Director of the National Center for Public Productivity at Rutgers University, a former Editor of Public Productivity and Management Review, two times member of the National Council of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and an Associate Editor of the International Encyclopedia of Public Policy and Management. Professor Halachmi is a member of many editorial boards of leading publications in public management and policy and serves as a consultant to governments and organizations all over the world. His many recognitions include the Harold Lasswell Award (Policy Studies), Don Stone Award (ASPA) and the Pugliese Award (SECOPA).
