This pack, developed by Savlon and supported by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, has been offered to all headteachers of primary schools in the UK, to whom it is free on request. The resource includes teaching notes, activity sheets and posters for teachers to use in the classroom. The activities contained within the teaching resource are varied and each one can be used as a starting point for further in‐depth work on the topic introduced. The resource has been designed in two sections to meet the different needs of pupils aged 5 to 7 and 8 to 11.

Safe and Sound conforms with the National Curriculum, and aims to save teachers hours of preparation.
